Rask posted a .948 in his 15 wins. Also allowed .44 goals less per game win or loss. Rask is the one who should've won the Conn Smythe. Not a guy whose chart looks like it was shot by a shotgun with bird shot at 50 yards.

Rask was only .014 better in wins vs every game. Binnington was .029 better. It's not even close.

One of the issues with these charts is they hardly represent a player's individual talent level.

Kopitar and Doughty got destroyed last year, and no one with a lick of knowledge would say they're bad players. Coaching, deployment and team mates definitely skew these results.

But, they are what they are. Say what you want about both players, but last year, they were pummeled against top competition.
