Only caught the 3rd period. I did notice some pretty awkrard skating from Brink. York on the other hand looks like a smooth criminal at both ends of the ice. |

Where would everyone rank the Coots-Hayes 1-2 center punch compared to the rest of the Metro? I have them at worst 4th and at best 3rd. |

On paper I'd say they are firmly #3 behind PITT & Wash. If Patrick breaks out, they have a chance to have the best Center depth in the division.

Last I heard, Kords was an assistant coach in the WHL with Kamloops. Think he is still there but not positive. He visited Philly a couple years ago and Zack Hill brought him to the locker room in Voorhees. |

I assume it's Berube bringing the Cup to the Jacks (bar in Philly where Blues picked up Gloria as a win song) next week. I don't know any details, but the bar tweeted about the Cup coming, for any Flyers fans who care. |

Celebrating ex-Flyers winning elsewhere is the saddest thing I've ever heard of.
I heard in St. Louis they were dropping confetti and ticker tape from the top of the arch when Terry Crisp won with Philly in 74. |

Pavel, they are celebrating a friend who has beaten the odds time and time again. Has nothing to do with the St.Louis Blues Blues specifically. |

Bill, I was at that game. My first NHL game ever. Probably the worse beating of a hockey player I have ever seen. That may have been the last time the Blues took advantage of the Flyers. I don't think they beat the Flyers for 15 years in the 70s and 80s. I still remember the Gary Unger/Red Berenson incidents at the Spectrum in the 70s. Old time hockey. |

I'm not familiar with the Unger/Berenson incidents. Can you shed some light? |

Berenson set an NHL record with a six-goal game against the Flyers. Not sure about Unger. But Steve Durbano once deliberately swung his stick at Flyers trainer Jim McKenzie for chirping him from the bench, knocking out several teeth. Bob Kelly jumped on Durbano's chest and beat the ever living tar out of him. |

Yeah much better to continually criticize him and the Flyers for giving him a coaching gig in a disrespectful manner. Wait, havent heard much of that from the clown recently...wonder why? |

I find the history bytes like the one today on Laforge fascinating. Thanks Bill!

So today’s James Tanner comments...
At first, I thought it would be funny to give it a read. Yeah, I didn’t make it far before one of his replies made me want to puke. Bless all those who are standing for truth. May you all have a wonderful day!
