While it seems glaring on the surface...after reviewing the list I don’t think there’s any player I would bump for couturier. Possibly Peterson or aho but both those kids while not having the resume have franchise player written all over them....same with Point. I think couturier is right where he belongs which is a bottom tier first line center...nothing wrong with that.

I wouldn't trade Couturier straight up for any of Couture, Kuznetsov or Backström (despite their respective playmaking wizardry), O'Reilly (Conn Smythe Trophy notwithstanding) or Monahan. Possibly even Seguin, too, because Couturier still contributes more as a 200-foot player although Seguin's all-around game has improved a lot.

Swap Cooter for those guys on that list, probably only 10 make our team better, few debatables and everyone from 16 down is a no. Got Cooter over Aho too.

It amazes me how they will still give stamkos such a high ranking, he's the third or fourth best player on his team and has the luxury of playing with one of the top 3 wingers in the game.

Stamkos had the luxury of having a few damn good teammates come out of nowhere when his game started to slip. He's still an excellent player but definitely not the superstar he used to be when he was carrying that team on his back.
