According to this article, Lehner's mask has positive messages about mental health.

Interesting tidbit about the Masterton trophy: next to Lehner's name they etched the wrong New York team saying he played for the Rangers.

I have Holm and that mannequin who starred in practices last season rising to the top as the new 1st D pair.

Holm and Gustafsson are former teammates. No previous ties to Colliton or Mittel. May have a tie to Deutsche Bank.

Blackhawks now sit at 46 contracts. Perlini could be #47 but I stopped caring about what he does or doesn't do. Except at 3C, I like the forward options regardless of what he decides.

Maybe we seem to be set with a Toews-Kane, and a ADB-Strome towsome as top 6, to help the defense maybe JC is looking to revolutionize the sport and go with a 2 forward 3 defensman line-up.

Krys is too low, imo. But I'm not here to argue.

Flames recently bought out Stone and have been rumored this summer (I believe even in the spring) to be shopping at least Brodie if not also Hamonic. They may need to keep both of them.

Or do as others are suggesting and ship some of the Hawks depth on D to the Flames for draft picks (maybe recoup the picks sent to the Habs for Shaw) and/or prospects.

I agree. Whatever remaining moves Stan plans to make (if any) hopefully involve a return of picks.

Between the 2nd half of last season and this summer the roster has turned over a lot. Let's sort out what we have before injecting even more fresh bodies.

While it looks improved on paper we need to see who performs when the puck drops.

So Strome needs to be average this year so the Hawks can sigh him to a long term cap friendly deal and then he can break out..... mmmk.
