Lol...am I?...its tailor made Canuck irony. Maybe that's when Demko is declared the new #1...uh #2 but Markstrom isn't traded because of you know... the play-off push.

Who's pushing for the playoffs. Strong start will have them in the thick of the race for the division.

Vancouver Canadians play almost daily. Let me check the schedule for you.

You're in luck they play on Saturday and Sunday AND Monday! Wow you are a lucky guy

Since Marner is unrealistic, how abouts we turn our attention to Risto wanting out of Buffalo?

24 years old.
6' 4 (193 cm)
WEIGHT: 215 lbs (98 kg)
Right Defense
Cap Hit: $5,400,000 for the next 3 years.

Could pair nicely with OJ on a 2nd line.

I'm not a super huge baseball fan. I do enjoy catching a game. Atmosphere is just different when at the game vs watching on TV.

I think they should just use their 2nd round pick in 2020 to pick a RHD. Could use the 1st but it's going to TB for Miller.

We need a 2nd ring of honor for the players who demanded trades.

Thanks Carol, just in time!

A big no to retiring #1. Lu is certainly the best goalie in franchise history, and will be a hall of famer but he will go in as a panther. If they’re going to retire Lu’s number, they might as well retire #11 too...

No need to retire the jersey of a guy that never wanted to be in Van.

Bye Lou.

Yeah, I don't see Lu getting his jersey retired. I mean it's #1, when I played in net it was still the preferred #, but not by me. I think it was a mental thing, "i'm the #1!." I didn't give a (frank), was just going to be better than you.

Lu did great things for the Canucks, but really we rented him for however many years. Had he finished up a Canuck, or even played a few more seasons then sure. He's a prime candidate for the ring of honour though.

Chychrun is good though, he's only going to get better.

all those 20 win seasons and below .900 save percentages?
- neem55

Having lived through different eras I don’t compare stats because the game had changed so much. Brodeur had an absolutely awful team in front of him, Neilson got the best out of those guys! He was a fun goalie to watch. It’s too bad you’re too young to have witnessed him play.

Let's see what a healthy developed OJ can do first before writing him off....

Whatever, he's 21 with over 150 GP, trending upwards despite a knee injury. He's still an effective two way defender getting better in his own end. It's not like he's been passing the puck to some sick wingers.

Brodeur really did carry the Canucks to the finals.

I blame AV for not getting the best out of Luo... Never pulled him ever when he should have.

Just better that he's a later developer. Cheaper next contract. No cap problems.
