Loved Bobby Lou even in his Canuck days ... great player ...

And Peter Worrell was a absolute monster ...

Well deserved rafters raise but lets be honest, Lu will always be remembered as a Canuck.

Worrell bad ass dude, not sure he was ever a top 5 heavy but fought them all and usually won. What that has to do with his new role? Nothing but my 2 cents.

For some sure, but the first team what comes to my mind when thinking of him is the Panthers. I would say it depends if one consumes a lot of Vancouver news/games.

Worrell and Laus were a tough 1-2 combo.

It’s really a team by team decision. It pisses me off that the Ducks are retiring Scott Niedermayer’s Jersey, but what can you do. I’m still waiting for the Blues to retire Brodeur’s number.

Forgot about Laus. Tough dude for sure and he wore my favorite number.

Good read about him here:

How many Stanley Cups did the Blues win with Broduer as captain?

It's cool for the Cats to do this for Luongo, and it will help create some "culture" in Florida for their team.
But I will pretty much always think of Luongo as a Canuck ...
