Skinner scored 40 goals once. Coincidentally beside a superstar centre. He is a 25-30 goal scorer and perennial 55 point player. He should be blowing Eichel for that contract he just received.

How many times has Hart trophy winner Taylor Hall?

Blowies aside, at some point you have to pay players who produce.

Or I guess you can permanently play kick the can and keep drafting high and letting guys go so you trade them collect more 2nds and 3rds to trade for players who produce and become too expensive so you trade them collect more 2nds and 3rds to trade for players who produce and become too expensive so you trade them collect more 2nds and 3rds to trade for players who produce and become too expensive so you trade them collect more 2nds and 3rds to trade for players who produce and become too expensive

Ad infinitum

At some point you have to commit to building instead of rebuilding

Good question. I can’t see in the future though. There could have been a trade or one/multiple free agent signings that may have made this team better in the long run.

Could of traded for pacioretty or Hoffman and got the same result.

If you were jbotts. would have you let skinner walk over 1 million per? 8x9 vs. 8 x 8

Think of the overall psyche of this sports fan base.

Sabres paid skinner for not leaving buffalo and continuing the cycle.

Sabres are missing out on season ticket sales as well.
Skins got a commission basically

I never approved of giving a 55 point winner $9M per year. I’d love to see the contradiction.

Sheary was a top 6 winger on a team that won multiple cups. Was he making $9M ?

No, I was just saying talking about it makes me want to puke. "Infinitum" is totally fine.

After one amazing race, back to a snoozer, I fell asleep again, and woke up just as Hamilton passed Verstappen, then promptly fell back to sleep.

I'm about 99% convinced that Ricciardo is cursed. Red Bull sucks when he's there, he leaves, they get good. His car may have 1000hp but it can't go around a corner worth a poop.

It’s a damn team game. You can’t just stick up on centers or wingers or D. About the only position that can take a team from mediocre to a cup is an elite generational goalie. And that still didn’t get us a cup. Let’s build a whole damn team not just stick up on one position.

Well since he started posting “tank” after I said I would have rather have saved the cap space and let Skinner walk rather then commit long term essentially hurting this years roster I felt it applied.

Isn't that more relevant? Or is it less relevant? Should wingers make $4m a year max? Some say yes, others say absolutely
