Agreed.

But both are great young defensemen.

Why?

What would be the point in this trade?

Werenski is better offensively but Provorov is better defensively and a lot more physical. Id rather keep Provorov

I am not one of them. I think Werenski is as good as Provorov. If that deal happens, I think Ghost is going to be traded.

Yea I'm a Flyers fan and I give a very, very slight edge to Werenski.

Funny thing is, if the players had played their careers on the other team, I think this opinion may switch. Provy in Columbus would take off.

I would love to have either player on my team.

I dont really see this as a viable trade.. Both around the same age, both expected to make similar money.. Werenski is outscoring Provorov by .2PPG.. An extra 4 points every 16 games roughly.. an extra 20 + points per season.. Those points could be huge and mean the difference between making or missing the playoffs in a tight division. Wersenski is also fast and solid devensively so no question he gets the edge.

Too early and too many factors to tell just yet. The factors im referring to:

Hakstol Vs Torts
Bob vs Elliot/Neuvy
CLB D core vs Flyers D core

Having said that, it’s easy to give Werenski the edge with the season Provy just had

Werenski > Provorov in almost everything, and that's coming from a Flyers fan.

@Cupsonbroad

Was kind of thinking the same thing, but the flyers would be silly to trade a cost-controlled offensive defenseman for an Rfa, who is in a similar vein as a player.
