So we can assume by following the Coyote methodology. That he will have a terrible year. However he will then be traded for pennies on the dollar. And boom! His potential will come to fruition on whichever team he is traded to! |

It doesn't matter how many notes the saxophonist actually hits.
As long as said saxophonist's note attempts are high, over time the stats will even out and the saxophonist will have a high "note-hit count."
We in the know call it the Tonesi rating. |

While the attempt at knocking Corsi is intellectually infuriating...I’ll admit this is HILARIOUS 😆 |

So pumped for Hayton, and agree that he’d look good on the second line wing to start his career.
Interesting that Pronman thought Hayton was a reach and admittedly changed his opinion after the draft and realized Chaykas genius. Despite that he has followed it up with thinking Soderstrom was a reach. It’ll be interesting to see if his tone changes there again, in which case we should all hail Chayka for the proper genius he is! Outsmarting the best of the best! |

It must cost no more than the 5 dollars Tanner gets paid to write this blog. |

Mostly that I like it a lot and that it's original enough to stand out from other similar albums. Also, to be truly great 100% of the songs should be good.

I think that the Coyotes definitely reach for players, so Pronman's takes on them are always going to be that they took whoever too early.
This makes sense though, the Coyotes are looking to hit grandslams and so they're taking guys with high ceilings and maybe a lesser shot at reaching the expected potential of whatever slot their picking at.
So after a year, Hayton thinks the Coyotes were right, and Hayton has a better chance of being successful. That is good news because perhaps they might have applied the same criteria for the Soderstrom pick. |

Tool is a fantastic and interesting band, but admittedly they are not for everyone. I disagree about my article being pompous though, I was mostly making fun of myself. |

It's weird how the referee just showed up all of the sudden.

BIG surprise there. Thin skinned Jimmy can dish it out but he sure can't take it. |

Pronman is a good prospect analyst. He also writes a retrospective column at least once a year to talk about players he got wrong one way or the other. He's not even close to an infallible judge of a player's potential worth and he knows it. You might reflect on having that kind of self awareness.
Also, Bon Iver isn't a 'he.' It's a bastardization of the French phrase for 'good winter' that some Alaskans wish each other. |

or a blogger could fact check himself before writing a blog... i've come expect a higher standard of trolling reporting from hockeybuzz
especially when great writers such as Matthew Barry, Richard Cloutier and Garth have all penned their work here |

Exactly. Let's not exaggerate Pronman's eye for talent. He's good. But nowhere near perfect. He was always ripping into Kyle Connor, questioning whether he could become a quality NHL player. He had guys like Jost, Nylander (Alex, not William), Sprong ranked way higher than Connor. He basically labelled Elias Pettersson as a bust due to being too small and lacking intensity. Oops. He thought Jake Bean was a horse and had him ranked ahead of Makar, Sergachev, Girard. He questioned whether DeBrincat could make the NHL. This isn't draft day, but even after another year to evaluate these guys. Not saying others do it better. It's hard to project even in a D+1 season, but that's why some people don't get super excited when Pronman says some nice things. Note that he said Keller would be better than every single guy mentioned above, including Barzal, Chabot, Connor, Pettersson. Haha.
