Lots of young talent, but you guys need a 2C asap! Can't win if you are that thin down the middle. Such an important position.

Connor Garland has talent. I was at a Roadrunners @ Gulls game early last season. I had never heard of him. But I needed to know who the little guy was who stood out so much for his talent on ice. He was miles better than anyone else on the ice. Every time his skates hit the ice, you noticed him.

Who knows if that talent will translate to the NHL given his size. But count me as a fan of his. I'm rooting for that talent to carry him.

In the Q he made highlight reel plays every night. But his shot was one of the weakest I’ve ever seen.
That might explain the 5 percent shooting.

Domi would look good as a 2C right now. Oh well, at least you have Goligoski!!

Tanner thinks Jake Gardnier is elite So ahhhh he's available right? Probably for a discounted price cause no other team seems to want him either How do these elite defenseman like Franson and Gardnier just slip though the fingers of every GM in the league? And all those scouts?

Probably because most GMs don't want to give a long-term deal over $6M to a guy who has serious back injury concerns, and because he would rather wait until someone becomes desperate (due to injury or other issues) than take a short-term and/or low-AAv deal.

I'm not saying he is or isn't elite, but the reason he isn't signed has little to do with his on-ice play.

Edit: Please let me know if I need to use more emojis from now on to have my points taken seriously.

I noticed Capobianco has a really low Corsi. He will need to change that to steal jobs from awesome d-men like Demers and Goligoski!! Trying to crack the 2nd best group of d-men in the NHL will be hard!

Jake Gardiner is single by choice. I don't know what to say to people who don't think he's a legit #1 dman. Facts is facts holmes.

I dont see Christian Fischer in this ideal lineup.
Has he fallen out of favor in Phoenix?

In 70 minutes they scored three goals and allowed five.

That's an extremely small sample size, but the 58% puck possession rating is encouraging for future use.

You can't make any conclusions after 70 minutes, except to say whether or not you should keep trying it.

Considering the sample size is 8 goals and 136 shot-attempts, anyone who isn't a complete idiot would understand that the 58% rating is more telling and important than the 8 goals in total.

If anyone can put up a near 60% CF, especially if that guy is someone you drafted fourth overall and is one of the only players you have talented enough to skate with your best player, it's a no brainer.

I do find it funny though how you posted that every day for two weeks and now you look absolutely ridiculous.

I'd play him over Richardson, Soderberg or Crouse, but likely the powers that be will sit Garland in his favor. He is actually pretty good, I more or less just forgot about finding a place for him.

Not long ago he had a lineup without Schmaltz.

When some of his readers laughed about how he said Schmaltz could be a 90+ point player one day, but then apparently overlooked the next day...his explanation was...Schmaltz only played like 17 games here before getting hurt so it was a minor error. No big deal. That would be like a Vegas blogger (and world expert) making a lineup without Mark Stone and using the same excuse.

Hey Incel, just remember people don't hate you because there is something wrong with them, it's because you're so bitter and angry. If you relax a bit your life will improve greatly. The first thing you have to do is get out of these message boards. I know it's a psychological need to try and build yourself up, but it's self defeating.

DM if you need the name of a good councilor.

Lmao, yea i look ridiculous... Do you read any of your comments on here? Your thought process is so a$$ backwards. %s and CF is an all telling thing right, why even have coaches, all you need is an excel spreadsheet and data tracking. Cup here we come. Alex Chiasson scored 22 goals with Mcdavid, don't sit here and tell me Jess P. is a great linemate for the guy, he literally can make anyone look good.

The Flames would happily take him off your hands.
A right shot winger with size and he is a good friend of Chucky's.
