Thomas Townsend: Scoring By Committee

Cam's interview during the NHLPA meeting was also telling, the mindset of the team is a return to that hard hat lunch box mentality that gave them a 105 pts season (before Panarin). It can be done, espcially with a better defence , so the only question mark is can Merz or Korpi become Bob.

my lines

Nyquist-Dubois-Atkinson
Texier-Foligno-Bjorkstrand
Jenner-Wennberg - Anderson
Dano-Dubinsky-Nash

Hannikainen/Robinson

Jones-Werensky (god willing)
Nuutivaara-Savard
Harrington-Murray

Kukan

Korpisalo
Merzlinkis

I don’t think Dubi and Nash will score 10 goals between them, let alone 10 goals each.

I'm no CBJ expert by any means....but I think Anderson can score more than 20.

Alex,

Switch Anderson and Nyquist and it looks good to me.

In fact, in an interview in the Columbus Dispatch Torts said he would pair Nyquist and Wennburg because someone has to find a way to get him going.

In some ways Wennburg may well be the key to this team making the playoffs this year. If he becomes what everyone thought he could be when he was a 1st round pick, this team could be great.

the problem is he never has been great, or even good other than an occasional assist.

Wasn't aware of that interview, but you do bring up a good point, this offence will go if Wennberg can get back to a 50-60 pts form, it will relieve scoring pressure from the first line. we could see Cam playing LW and Andy RW
