Klefbom on 2nd pairing makes sense to me....as I said during the summer I think less minutes will increase the chances of him staying healthy for a change.....let Nurse play top pairing minutes on a contract season and see how that goes

Nuge agrees that he felt good with Khaira, while also bringing up Jesse, acknowledging the chemistry between the three of them for almost ten games, and praised Khaira’s game for using his big frame to get to the puck and creating opportunities that way, but also crediting his hockey IQ and his ability at playing centre to understand what he needs to do to help Nuge out; they didn’t stay together as long as Nuge had hoped.

Depending on how much the coaching staff takes player preference into account, Khaira might be another option for the 2LW spot. Khaira-Nuge-Neal would be a pretty heavy line and giving Nuge more defensive support to account for Neal's weakness in that area could be wise.

That is some pretty damn high praise from Nuge. And if it keeps him happy (something the organization should very much be focusing on), then I’d gladly staple Khaira to Nuge’s LW as often as possible.
