Desperately need a another top 6 scorer. Even a 20-30-50 RW would be great.

I like Kreider but he's another lefty.

Toffoli might be a decent option. Reasonable hit and UFA at the end of the year.

Disgusting. PJ Stock or Colton Orr would have never let him get away with that horsepoop.

The only way they’re getting rid of Backes is if they pay someone to Tonya Harding his knees and he’s forced to retire.

Take it with a huge grain of salt but...

Ryan Whitney saying hes hearing Bruins are close on re-signing Coyle to a 6 year deal, same goes for Wagner and a 3 year deal.

coyle is 27 so that is good...depending on the $ of course...Wagner for 3 years? hmm...he is 28 but hopefully not overpaying for a 4th liner...

The Boston Bruins have signed Charlie Coyle and Chris Wagner to contract extensions. Full details:

Coyle - 6 years, average cap hit $5.25 million

Wagner - 3 years, average cap hit of $1.35 million

The local boys are here to stay.

I am happy with the coyle contract. Didn't know that much about him when he played for Minnesota but love the way he plays...Wagner I guess is ok...

Now Krug

Coyle deal I think is about .25 - .5 million dollars per year overpayment. I like Benoit, but not sure he’s a $5+ million dollar per year player. Still like the signing, just slightly rich for my comfort zone with him as a player.

Hate the Wagner deal... No need, ever, to pay more than $1 million for a 4th liner, let alone the 3 year term. Those guys are a dime-a-dozen, particularly in a franchise that loves drafting bottom line guys.

Little high for Coyle should’ve been 4-5 years at 4-4.5 max and not sure Wagner needed 3 years. Glue guys, local guys so that’s good

I wish Coyle would shoot more...about the only thing i can think of. He is crucial as Bergy and Kraychee get closer to retirement. Not sure there would be a better 3rd line centre in the league, but maybe there is. Kraychee contract up after next year too

Wagner is maybe the devil you know, but agree 4th line guys are plentiful. Bruins had contract stuff under chia signing these guys for too much term, but he is only 28 years old...but maybe a old 28 given the style he plays...

I love Wags so I dont mind the deal but Sweeney loves throwing out these kind of contracts. Its like he thinks 1-2 million dollar deals dont count but they add up quick. Wagner, Moore, Clifton, Lindholm, and Kampfer all on smallish multi year deals.

B's have collected 78% of possible points through 25 games (lead NHL), blowing away their recent starts:

68% 2013
58% 2014
62% 2015
58% 2016
56% 2017
64% 2018
78% 2019

interesting; I think the goalies have saved at least 3 or 4 of the wins so far
