Absolutely!
We can trade Seguin for him.

Maybe Palmieri if they're selling. More realistic, more in the mould, more reliable, another year at a decent price. A lot about Hall makes me wary.

Yep. Great call. Palmieri would be a great fit.

Would require the prerequisite question asked by the Bruins to the rest of the league: “David Backes anyone?”

For those who have the Athetic there is quite the story about Timmy today about his struggles since quitting. Brain injuries. It was good to see him at Caps game for US HHOF induction

Yeah that was a bit tough to hear about. Always liked him and the cup win will never be forgotten. Hope he gets better

At league minimum?

If I’m Sweeney he’s already on a plane here and will suit up tonight against his old team.

Well can he be any worse than Ritchie? Maybe he can; haven't watched him play this year

No, he can’t.

Sign him and waive Ritchie or Lindholm. Or both

Add Kovalchuk and slot him in the 2nd line RW position (he can play either wing).

Coyle back to 3rd line center.

Waive Ritchie and Lindholm.

Kuhlman and Senyshyn back to Providence.

Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak
DeBrusk-Krejci-Kovalchuk
Bjork-Coyle-Heinen
Nordstrom–Kuraly-Wagner
Backes

Chara-McAvoy
Krug-Carlo
Clifton-Gryz
Moore

Yeah why the hell not. If he sucks or is a cancer turn him loose. The only thing is it would almost preclude us from going after someone else ala Palmieri. But if something like that is not being pursued I'd give him a shot

Ritchie and Lindholm -- exactly the guys we were scratching our heads over thinking how are these stiffs better than what we have.

Come on Donnie fkn do it already, if what's being said is true there's little to lose. Guy has never had a legit shot at a well rounded team with a great core around him. I've gone from yeah what the hell to what's the fkn holdup??
