The actual $ number is going to be crucial for the Canucks because in all likelihood, Boeser's contract will impact Petey's in one way or another.

not entirely close, .59ppg to .81ppg is like a 17 point swing over 82 games. but i do think his aav offsets the insanity of marner

Last two years numbers have been close. TC also does bring some grit. The fact that he can stay healthy should not count against him. At the end of the year it should come down to how many points

I posted on the blog a few days ago about what I think the remaining RFAs might get based on Marners contract/point totals. Konecny was predicted at 5.6 (so [email protected] is awesome) That would put Boeser around 7.5. Thats the number I think his agent is looking for and I'd wager the Canucks probably started around 6.5. He apparently turned down 7, so i'm guessing Brock is hoping for something around 7.25? It should happen soon.
