Bill any word on Patrick’s injury? It was stated that the injury doesn’t require surgery so a concussion is ruled out.
Is it a shoulder, oblique, etc?

Why would not needing surgery rule out a concussion ?

Since the Patrick news broke he has been listed as week to week if I remember right so that isn't a new development.

I’m encouraged by the actions of the coach and GM. I hope it translates to better play. At least it shows they recognize there is a problem, there’s good communication between coach and management and they are going to address the problems immediately. There are going to be repercussions for poor play.

Agreed.

I have been encouraged by just about everything the coach and GM have done so far.

My biggest gripe being the Braun deal which while I understand the logic behind it just didn't feel necessary.

Other then that I was happy with the draft at this point, happy with Niskanen deal and pretty much the other moves.

"They have no choice," Vigneault said. "That's just how it is."

They're just flat out of excuses this year. Heaven forbid they get out the gates slow, yet again, and limp into Thanksgiving near the cellar of the Metro.

Yup, not saying it doesn't make them better just that at the time I didn't think they needed to do it.

I love this approach. Extreme Ownership across the board.

Anyone that thinks not winning a playoff series since 2012 is acceptable should be embarrassed as a fan.

I love it too. Doesn’t change the fact that we are two weeks away from watching Chris Stewart dress in our top 9.

He won't be in the top nine. Would be the 12th or 13th forward if he makes it. Yesterday, AV talked about him -- if he makes the team -- being a 6,8, maybe 10 minute type depending on the night. That's a 4th liner.

Me too!
This team has needed a swift kick in the ass for a long time. It reminds me of when they hired Hitch. It was made crystal clear to the players that Hitch was here to stay and their butts were now on the line.

Time to earn your paychecks boys.

Aube-Kubel is a much better option for that role. Hopefully Pitlick can be healthy in time to save the organization from the embarrassment of having Chris Stewart in the roster in 2019.
