Feeble lineup indeed. Wondering how many goals Pens will give up with that defense? Enough of the exhibition season. Drop the puck already.

Gotta agree with RW on Legare. He’s in the same position as Belerive was 2 years ago. Great to see him get those goals but he wasn’t exactly owning the ice before the the 2 in :23.

A few years back i clicked on nhl.com and actually thought these are already serious games... and when you see, what $'s some people actually pay for a [Canadian] team, which will be ousted by the Bruins in 7 again...

How do you spell Bellerive? It’s T-A-N-G-R-A-D-I

I'll be watching Lafferty and Bjorkqvist. If there are injuries, I could see one of them getting called up.

I'd add Kahun, Dipauli, Rikki and Marino. I'm praying Rikki makes it difficult to justify giving JJ a jersey when the season starts.

Yea, Rikki was certainly getting under the skin of the Sabres when they played at Penn St.

I think how good Bjorqvist looked last game was overlooked. Not that he's WOW player, but he was very solid and flashed some nice moves.

If they were worried about putting any other player on waivers, this is exactly what I'd do. JJ would clear no problem. If he doesn't.....jackpot!

I think Bleuger actually gained a step over the summer. Pretty impressive wheels.

Yeah. Despite the defense issues and lacking a true sniper outside of Jake, the Pens have a plethora of solid young bottom six options.

There was a time in the Shero/Bylsma era where that wasn't the case. They filled the 3rd and 4th lines with Dustin Jeffrey, Tanner Glass and Zach Sill. Gawd...gonna have nightmares tonight thinking of those plugs. Andrew Ebbitt, Marcel Goc, Taylor Pyatt...

Kahun, while not dazzling, has been more noticeable in a positive way.

Bottom six was a (frank)ing mess. Goc isn't fair though. Goc was a very solid player and grossly misused by Bylsma.

It was a terrible pass. He passed it into his skates.
