Step 2: Make Prospect Tourney and Play like you belong, regardless of injury recovery.
-One of the Best players in the tournament without question.
Sep 3: Play in NHL Preseason games and show you can protect yourself, skate and think at the NHL Speed.
-Been one of the BEST players in every game he has played regardless of with Remi Eliie or Jack Eichel
Step 4: Earn a 9-game Free tryout with the team after management and coaching agree that the "Try Out" is for what is best for Cozens Long-term future with the Sabres but balanced with Sabres needs.
Remember from the very moment Dylan Cozens was drafted it was wildly known that of all the top centers in the draft Dylan Cozens was the one most likely to be able to enter the league a bit earlier than the smaller others due to his physical stature and the Speed at which he players, but still unlikely due to adjusting to the fastest pro game on earth and building muscle. That being said, Dylan Cozens has earned more respect and showed more desire in his 5month career as a Buffalo Sabre than Alex Nylander did in 3 years. Let the kid play the 9 game tryout, enjoy it, learn from it, and shut the hell up once in a while and observe instead of proclaim.

Contracts, age and ego be damned! I want the Sabres to put their best 23 players on the ice come October. Sabres fans and season ticket holders deserve this out of their team.
