Karine Hains: Prediction Time The new season is upon us and now is the time to throw our predictions out there to be able to say "told you so!" 6 months down the line or "oh...this didn't age well".

Amazes me Drouin is still somehow just 24.

Flyers fan, here. Is Suzuki still slated for 2nd Line duties, and will he likely stay there, or perhaps settle on FL3

I totally agree with your comment on Drouin. I believe he will get around 60 pts this year.

He's still slated for top 6 duty and I do believe it will stick

Will probably be extra hot wings or a bad bison burger so I'd be careful if I were you.

Oh this won’t be a Ye Olde Orchard lunch.

We dine at Maison Boulud, where I’ll drink 3 50’s and have dulce de luche for dessert..

I think Suzuki and Poehling (I think he's easily good enough to come up) are enough additions for them to make the playoffs. That said I don't have the same optimism for Drouin. His attitude stinks and his talent isn't translating at the NHL level. Obviously there's no value in trading him, but I wouldnt bet on his success.

agreed for the most part.
but with all due respect, how do you know Price will be Price from the start of the season? isn't that wishful thinking?
but yes, they'll need him to play like a 10M goalie all year to even have a chance at a wildcard spot.
and like I predicted last week, Drouin already lost his spot on the top 6 to Suzuki, and could very well lose his spot on the 3r line to Poehling in a few weeks.

on the good side, good kids, well balanced offense on all 4 lines, nothing spectacular but well balanced, good dcore, best in a long time. let see if the PP can win them some games. their speed should provide them many 5x4 opportunities.
