I’d have to say the Sharks as well.

I said going into the season, the team who should be most concerned is whichever one first feels the need to bring up "Look at the Blues last year winning after being in last place."

Bruce Boudreau did after Minnesota's most recent loss... sadly, no one pointed out to him Blues turnaround came after they fired their coach, to see his reaction.

James again showing what little he knows. Most the Sharks players are under 30. Their average age is 27-28...... That drop significantly when Thornton and Marelau are out of the equation.

People seem to miss the fact that the Blues were unlucky to be in the basement and that they were expected to be a top team. They aren't some crap team that suddenly got it.

As is tradition, Tanner is always right whenever some lunatic questions his knowledge

Couture: 30
Kane 28
Karlsson 29
Thornton 40
Marleau 39
Karlsson #2 29
Burns 34
Vlasic 32
Dillon 28
Both goalies 30

Remember, 25 is prime, 23 is peak, decline starts at 28 for most non-superstar players.

The average age of the shark is made lower by a bottom pairing and bottom six made up of guys most people have never heard of who may or may not be good. They're an old team because their entire core is 28 or older.

Meir is their only core piece under 25

Yet Dillion, Karlsson, Kane Burns and Couture havent shown any sign of a decline.

Dell and Jones were both never any good so they are a wash. Marleau had 2 goals last game too and seems to be doing well at his age.

Also noticed how you left Hertl, Lebanc and the rest of the team who dont fit your narritive off your list.

Declining at 28 is nothing but a crock to try and save face over a stupid comment you made.

I can't argue with the Sharks being in shark-infested waters to begin this season but let's just give them a little time to gel with the new-comers. Jumbo looks very slow but he's so great at setting his linemates up that he will continue to be productive. Little Joe will be sorely missed but let's see if some of these guys can step up and answer the call. Would at least like to see the team progress this year and start getting some higher picks and drafting well. Not sure what kind of goaltending they have with the Barracuda but it would be nice if there's a prospect or two!

Who didn't see this coming for the Islanders? Terrible roster that horribly overachieved last season.
