The best thing was, Mantha didn’t fight Muzzin and make him our new defenseman next season.

I was at the game. The Red Wings lost too many face-offs, and couldn't clear the puck out of their zone. Eventually it caught up to them.

Cholowski got embarrassed on that first Leafs goal. Flattened like a pancake.

Ok, that is awesome. My wife is a huge snoopy fan so you get bonus points for that one!

Absolutely. I should probably be a little harder on them but I fully accept Toronto as the more talented team. They kept a good game going (just my opinion) until after the Helm goal. Then it opened way too wide for my taste

It must have been crazy there! The chanting sounded so loud. It stinks to lose but so great to see some rowdiness at LCA

If the Red Wings are going to win they have to push the pace and grind it out like they did versus Montreal. I thought the Wings did that in the first period but stood around too much in the second and third periods. Safe is death. It seemed like the Leafs were on the power play for 40 minutes. I think they'll have a good western trip though.

I agree on the grind. Hirose and A.A. need to get going. If they do, it could completely change the dynamic of the team. Hoping, probably in vain, Svech makes the trip out west

They are looking better in comparison, the defense seems a bit stronger (with Hronek for sure) and there are less moments of chaos in the defensive zone where teams are just swarming for minutes at a time, and overwhelming the Wings.

It's a small sign of stability which has been lacking, AA needs to get things figured out and get something going with that 2nd line, I know it's early, I don't know if it's the line combination itself, but it needs a shake up. AA should be producing more than he has, and I don't necessarily blame him. I also wonder now if Hirose is a bit overhyped and shouldn't be on the 2nd line, Svech should be given a fair shot.

Onto the next game, i'm a bit confident in the possibility of a W.

I'd say take Glendening (hands of stone) off the 2nd line and put him back on the 4th line where he belongs. And maybe put Svechnikov on the 2nd or 3rd line and see what happens.
