We all know the buzztron cannot be broken, It is 100% accurate with 50% deviation due to luck. We are talking about the buzztron here. When it comes to betting go with the buzztron... (But only bet monopoly money)

As good as that Vegas team can be, It would not beat that Canadiens team. But for a new franchise koodos to the great start better than several other all time teams starting from the 90s. the Knights all time is potentially among the best there easy.

Great start by the oilers. Playing a more disciplined system. Too early to get excited though. Also, I think the Matthews/Mcdavid debate should turn into Matthews/Draisaitl. Drai is for real. Two way player at its finest.

Matthews cant hold Drai's jock. I stole this little stat line from another site.

"Since the beginning of the 2017-18 season Draisaitl has as many goals (77) as both Patrik Laine and Auston Matthews, yet he has 40 more points than Matthews and 53 more than Laine. The only 50-goal, 100-point player in the entire NHL last season, since the beginning of 2018-19 Draisaitl is second in goals (52) behind Alex Ovechkin, and fourth in points (113) behind Nikita Kucherov, McDavid and Kane"

They will use the “ he plays with mcdavid argument” my response is why doesn’t Matthews do that for his line mates?

I love how you point out all these stats and then leave out the fact Draisaitl has played 140 more games than Matthews...not saying he sucks be any means..but to say he has better stats is wrong based on games played. McDavid I will say is the best player in the league however.

Imagine how good they’d be if they didn’t trade Taylor Hall for a bag of pucks

Kenny Holland makes them real.... As long as he doesn’t have to decide to resign a mediocre player that’s aging, you should be all set for a few years.

It is silly to even suggest that Matthews is in the same class as McDavid.

Matthews might put up good numbers, but he does not make the people around him better. Matthews is the kind of player that puts on a celebration dance when he scores even though his team is behind on the scoreboard.

Not a team player. Me first attitude. Only the Toronto media makes these dumb comparisons with a truly elite talent like McDavid.

Not sure how it all plays out but Oil fans have some serious talent to enjoy watching. RNH ain’t no joke either. Would love him on the island. Nonetheless, I got to see this team yesterday vs NYR and McD is by far the best player on that team, and likely the league. He’s faster than anyone on the ice and still has an extra gear to hit when he needs to. It’s crazy how fast he is, and his skill level is off the charts too. Love that kid.

This is very true. Would be interesting to see how many points Matthews could actually score in a full 82 game season.. Its too bad hes made of glass.

No the Oilers are the same terrible team theyve been for years. They will be lucky if they sneak into the playoffs in the final wild card. Most likely will miss. All this hot start does it put them on track for a worse draft position.

Holland had his hands tied, made solid additions. More speed and a coach with the right system. I’m not saying they’re favourites, but the d is underrated and they have a top six that are dangerous. This start can be huge for a playoff position. The west is a toss up. But yes, it can go sideways. I see your point. The team has a swagger this year, unlike previous years. Time will tell, but they’re not an easy win anymore IMO.

Absolutely, need the bottom 6 to get points, but the speed added and the d looking good makes a big improvement. It looks like they are on track
