My theory in Buff, his foot healed very slow over the Summer and he never got any quality off-season training/conditioning done, probably was well out of game shape at the start of camp. Came to an agreement with the team to punch some hardcore gym time to get better conditioning while camp and the season progressed. Get some skating in over next few weeks and come back sometime in November.

Panic ...
Everyone knew with that goalie duo Devils weren't going anywhere. Blackwood may ..may turn out ok.. but Cory is toast even though he's been ok so far, no way over 82 games were these 2 leading them anywhere... giving up average of 5 a game ain't making it.  |

Maybe the Devils can get another #1 pick to make it 3 #1's in 4 years. They can be the new Oilers with lots of #1 picks in a short amount of years and still do nothing (until this year so far anyways as Edmonton is playing great). |

Gotta agree with Essensa.... would be the Bulin wall but he played only one season as a starter for them before they moved to Phoenix. |

As a Devil's fan, yes - it is time to panic. Its not the goaltending, its not the D, its not the offense - it is the style of play and lack of urgency and that comes from the coach.
Coach Hynes needs to go ASAP !!!!
Just saw a NJD press release that the assistant GM will be joining the team behind the bench during practice today? WTF is that nonsense - just fire the guy already!
