You're right, the 2 points against Boston are bigger which is why it's so stupid to start Andersen tonight.

perhaps the Leafs are taking a hard look at Korpisalo for the back up job?
- Lucas.Neilson

Humm interesting.

I would say it may be closer to the Trade Deadline as CBJ will need Korpisalo for now

Oh he's serious. He didn't notice the 46 shots Boston took on the road.

Tired Leafs team on the road might give up 60 shots on Hutchinson.

Could be a disaster of a game.

Perhaps Freddy starts both night's. I have my doubts though.

Tonight won't be easy, Columbus brought it to us the last game, they usually always do.

Josh Anderson was a machine, man I wish that guy was a Leaf.

Yeah but maybe the ref will call more penalties on the home team than the away team for this game.

Dubas prefers the "all wussy" lineup instead ....

Meh, it's hockey. Anything can happen.

For all we know, Boston gets 50 shots and Hutch gets a shutout. I've seen crazier things.

which is the reasoning he gave last time. They dont want to ride Anderson to death in the reg season and make him play games where he gets 60 shots all the time.

Leaf have to find ways to win with the backup against decent teams.

If I could posts Gifs on my phone, I'd post the of Moore crushing Chara.

But ya, we are a pretty soft team.

Timashov was surprisingly physical last game. He had a heck of a game.

When he had his contract impasse a few years ago, I was hoping the Leafs would trade Johnsson as part of a deal for him.

It is a stupid strategy by Babcock. He is basically saying, "we cant trust Hutch at all, so we will just throw him to the wolves." If you can't trust your backup to play some games, then maybe you need to get one that you can? Or, maybe the team needs to play better in front of him?"

The win is Boston is more important. Sit Freddy tonight, let Johnsson rest tonight (blocked shot), bring in some call ups (Gravil?) to take up some minutes so everyone is a little fresher for tomorrow...

I watched him play a few times last year and thought he was always good. He is built like a tank, not afraid to throw the body, but also can score.

Which is stupid because if they want to rest him, they can rest him by playing him fewer games.

If they're going to prevent him from playing hard games all year, may as well accept a wild card position right now or miss the playoffs altogether.

Leafs have to find a way to get a better back-up. Playing a poop back-up against Boston and Montreal is just stupid.
