Very well written and can’t disagree with anything. Can only change lines so many times before some sort of progress needs to be made. Love the kids line, and some unfortunate bounces but you can not honestly justify sitting Boqvist and Gusev for Hayden and Rooney.

Your proposed D pairs make a lot more sense than what they're running out there now. I was a Hynes defender but I think it's time. Clean house and get someone in here who can run the D. The talent there isn't great but they have to be better than they're showing so far.

Our defensive system is broken right now. Horrible in our zone. I wouldn't mind Greene and Carrick (when healthy) to make a solid bottom pairing/PK/Shutdown. Our top 4 need to step up!!! PK has looked horrible thus far, and shown no signs of changing. Severson will hopefully continue to find his form as he was our top D last season. Smith has not been given a fair shake, and remains our x-factor, as Vats continues to produce offensively while being mediocre in our zone.
