I have to say it a mix of 3 goalies.

Helle has been disappointing. I know he has a 13M D roster in front of him, but he has allowed way too many low percentage shots in.

Schneids - Njd probably had the best offseason, and scheids closed the previous season off on a high note. Now he is nowhere to be found.

Bobrovsky - This contract is petrifying!!!! Hopefully he rebounds, but even if he does, how long can he dominate for? 3 years????

Honorable mention to all of Tampa Bay. Way too much skill to be playing like this. But the NHL is in a great place with some of the wildest goals I've ever seen, and the season has just started!!!

James Tanner, everyone.
Proving once again that all you need to be a hockey blogger is a stat sheet and a propensity for spewing trash you heard some analytics guy say.
How can an 18 year old who never played a game in the league before be the most disappointing player after 11 games. Read that aloud, James. Do you hear how stupid it sounds?
Are we at the point now where instead of being impressed and surprised that an 18 year old can even make their team, we are now writing them off one month into their career? Is it expected that every single teenager drafted at the top of their draft will dominate the league now right from day one?
How about the greatest defenseman of all time Erik Karlsson sporting some of the worst stats in the game at a cap hit almost 16.5 times that of Kakko? Or the entire Maple Leafs roster? Can you imagine the disappointment around the Greatest Team in the History of the Salary Cap Era losing night in, night out? Astounding.

It is pretty idiotic... How can the youngest player in the league be the most disappointing?

Has yet to break multiple records set by Wayne Gretzky, clearly a bust.

Tanners blog might be the dumbest thing I have ever read on Hockeybuzz, do you read what you write before you click "submit"?

This Kakko take has got to be one of the most painfully idiotic things I’ve read on this site. And man - there is a LOT to choose from.

He most likely reads his blogs before he submits them and makes them dumber imho.

Have to agree with what has been said here re: Kakko. I thought this would be an interesting read with a hot take on players I don't get to see a lot - Milan Lucic just exhaled.

Let's take it easy on Tanner here. It takes a lot of bravery and heart to type such a bad take on a player you have never watched into existence

Florida just signed Bobrovsky for $10M x 7 years…and after 12 games he’s delivered 3.36 GAA and an .882 SV%. He’s being outplayed by Sam Montembeault. But yeah, Kaapo Kakko is definitely a bigger disappointment than that!

Jamie Benn scored 27 goals last year and is currently on pace for 5. Seems kind of disappointing for $9.5M. But Kakko is definitely a much bigger concern.

San Jose can’t be too happy about Erik Karlsson. Calgary must be disappointed in Lucic. But none compare to the devastatingly awful play by Kakko.

Signing goalies to expensive max-term deals is probably going to go the way of the dodo in short order. It's almost never a good idea.

He has a 38% corsi, and was literally ranked the worst player in the league on the evolving hockey site. That is a disappointing start for someone who was expected to score and compete for the Calder.

It's not even a hot take, let alone the stupidest thing you have ever read.

The odds of an 18 year old rookie struggling was very high, plenty of other options that are currently disappointing. Save your Corsi Bullcrap and write a real article.

On a 10-15 game sample size for an 18 year old on a non-playoff team? You have got to be joking. I’m really hoping you’re just trolling with stuff like this. Bobrovsky? Sure, I can get behind that. You want a Ranger? Try Chris Kreider. Kakko? You’re just fishing for clicks. Which, I have to hand it to you, you got mine.

Does his Corsi tell you that an 18 year old making his debut in the NHL can really impress, but can’t really disappoint too much unless your an idiot who expects them to lead the league right out of the gate?
Again, he’s more disappointing than your beloved, high flying Leafs? Really?

Yes, really. Why don't you have a coronary over it? Jesus dude, relax. The guy has been ranked objectively as the worst player in the league, the blurb even suggests trying him with better players. God forbid someone have a different opinion than you or tell you something you don't want to hear.
