I still can't believe some people didn't want to sign Panarin
- TPC

I still hate it. Trade Panarin now while he has some trade value.

Overall dead cap hits will total only about 2.5M more than this season (Shatty +5, Girardi -2.5). The Cap increase will cover that.
- mames11

Counting on the Cap increasing is what landed teams in trouble this summer.

John Gilmour getting 19 min a night in Buffalo. Better cheaper version of Skeji.
- nyrangers2

I felt like he was someone we should have looked at holding on to, or trying to move out some of our other D guys to give him a chance.

NYR Is so bad at identifying talent.

Jonathan Marchessault- Signed by wolfpack as undrafted FA because he was Bourque's kids buddy
PA Parenteau-Leaves and puts up 53 and 67 points first 2 years in the NHL after barley getting a sniff with the Rangers
I'm sure there are more but these are the 2 glaring players I can remember

Add these to all the guys we draft that end up being busts and you have to wonder if the entire scouting department of the NHL actually knows how to properly evaluate hockey players.

You never know which players are going to make it. Look at G, he was undrafted, and Hank might not have got his shot if Weekes never got injured.

ummmm, Buffalo has dressed John Gilmour 3 games this season and he hasn't played since November 1st

if anybody would rather have John Gilmour playing than Hajek, Fox and Lindgren kindly suck my balls

Hartford was absurdly awful last year with John Gilmour leading the team in icetime

this year they are the best team in the league, another win last night

you glass is half empty people are really something else

you mean you aren't still crying about PA Parenteau having a couple of decent seasons for Islander teams that didn't make the playoffs earlier this decade?

Marc Staal out at least two weeks. Having some kind of surgical procedure on his ankle for an infection. Probably out longer.

I don't wish anything bad on Staal, he has been a great Ranger, but I really hope he takes his sweet time coming back.

Staal has been a great Ranger and he has a serious injury history. Bad concussion and loss of sight. Wish him a slow but speedy recovery.

Buffalo loses both games to Tampa in Sweden, maybe if they didn't healthy scratch John Gilmour both games they would have won

Funny story, ran into a few young Islander fans (literally kids) at 7-11 today who were gearing up to go to their game and had my Rag$ hoodie on. The kid says to his Father "that guys a Ranger fan in front of us (on line)" lol, I got outed.

Yep had a legit chance at the playoff and now another wasted season. The biggest thing that sucks about college football, you lose one game and your season is mostly over. Need to expand the playoff
