I’m no one to judge if people like pain, but if you are so sure that they are finished and (as the other poster noted) worthless, why would you continue watching?

Leafs heading toward 50 shots. Not good.

But don’t forget, Toews has become a overpaid liability , his best days are well behind him and as the captain of this team his leadership skills are non existent.

Strome: so his line is a win win only when they are outscoring the opponent. With Kane on the line it is your top line. Alright with that but my pleased then herein Toews as a driving force on line two

Too be perfectly objective regarding Toews' contribution and failure nowadays.........I have t question if he plays with fear or discomfort vis - a - vis his body is susceptible to breaking down if he engages heavily in physical battles. He chooses to play differently now since his Toews I version took an incredible beating which he cannot or will no longer continue to accept its toll on body and mind

We do not really know. Only Toews and maybe teamates/management had a clue about this. I doubt that he lost ability. But there is a reason(s) why he is no longer a top two offensive center
