What's the over/under for shots taken at Kuemper's head to start off the game? It's games like tonight that make me miss Brian Rolston and his howitzer slapshot.

Thinking on trades now....you have Parise, Suter, Spurgeon and Zuccarello that have full NMCs. Koivu is on the 35+NMC. Zucker, Staal and Dubnyk are all on modified NTCs. Who the hell can be traded to make the Wild younger? Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know...players can opt out of the NMC/NTC. But who of those listed players actually wants to do that?

Let's just say that I'm glad I am not Bill Guerin or in his position. The more I look this over and try to figure out some types of trades to get the Wild back on the right track (and that means getting draft picks and/or very young high potential players), I am really at a loss to find a team that would be stupid enough to do anything with the Wild. Unless, of course, the get fleeced again like Fenton did.

They have to get creative as other GMs have done.

We'll give you Zucker, Spurgeon and Suter for a first round draft pick and a bucket of pucks.

Except that teams willing to trade for these players will be teams going..., at least into the playoffs, And possibly deep into the playoffs. Which makes their first round pick a lot closer to Minny's second round pick than you would like. Still i agree it is what needs to be done. Think Ottawa of the west!

Yeah, these suggestions just make me sick. The worst part, I know its a reality as well.
