10-5-3 feels pretty good, man. Considering that difficult road trip to start the year? And recently goin up to Toronto and Boston?
Yeah. Feels pretty good. |

Agreed regarding how they've responded in view of the hard early sched etc.. And the fact we usually start very slowly and have to play catchup. I'm very happy with the team's progress so far. |

Need to come out with a good effort tonight against an inferior team. Get ahead early and roll 4 lines to save some energy for a tough game against the icelanders tomorrow night. |

The Flyers for the most part appear to be buying in to what Vigneault's is selling. There are some vets that don't appear to be as receptive and I do wonder how it will play out. Obviously some guys have longer leashes or as the coach suggested have money in the bank...but to what end?
The Flyers lacked a consistent accountability over the last 5 years and the results showed. I don't think the new regime will let that happen.
The team on a whole is playing great and are becoming a much more entertaining product to watch. To get to that next level they need everyone to buy in. |

Can't look past tonight as you say but I'm looking forward to seeing how they stack up against the isles. That team is absolutely killing it right now. If we get 4 pts these next two games I'll be very impressed. |

Bill, you should go back to calling it the post-game skills competition instead of the shootout. |

tonight is the game that recent past Flyers teams would lose so I really want to see this group come out and play hard like they are facing off against Washington, etc |

Time to put G and Jake back together, Giroux with some really good games lately, let him get Jake going. Give more minutes to the top 6 and make the Hayes unit earn more ice. |

I agree. Hell, they did team up for the only goal last game, and that was the Voracek we need more consistently. Also, it's nice that Farabee really fits anywhere in the top-9 due to his 2-way sense. |

Last night, the Rangers were down 4-0 less than 7 minutes into the game and they had not yet recorded a SOG. That is both insane and glorious. |

We need to get another line scoring consistently as well, I think when Laughton comes back we can figure out this bottom 6. |

Question: If you could have PK Subban or Shea Weber right now, taking their cap hits and contracts into account, which would you choose? |

For me, it's clear. I would take PK Weber 10 out of 10 times.
But in all seriousness, I guess I would take PK because he's younger. |

Weber, proven leader, not like his game is based on speed, i think he'll age well. That's a guy that comes into a locker room and guys are on their toes. Both have injuries lately but Weber is easily the better player. |

I don't disagree but they were together earlier in the season and weren't effective. Can't hurt to try again though.

Hopefully when Laughton returns he can hit the ground running, a 4th line of Raffl-Laughts-Pitlick I think would look really good out there.
If Patrick comes back, where does he go? If he is gonna end up centering JVR and Voracek, that would be a real heavy line. I mean the skill level compared to other 3rd lines would be crazy, but would that line work? |

I hear you but those other two lines are not clicking at the moment and with G playing well lately I think he can get Jake going. Also, Jakes effort has been great, still some dumb passes but that's what you get with him. |
