Where the hell was Kakko?

Did he tire himself out scoring 2 goals the other night?

Well, that was certainly ugly.
You are bang on about Haley's icing. I was screaming as he dumped it 2 strides from the red line and brooding when Schenn found the net about 11 seconds later.
Not sure why that plug even made our roster.
Kudos to you guys. That is how you step on your opponent's neck! Something I hope you guys can replicate in the playoffs against Boston or whoever else.

Rangers were just in the wrong place and the wrong time.

The Bolts woke up in Sweden, have barely played at home this year and, also due to their low games played, are far down the standings.

Come home, have some swagger and ready to roll.

This says nothing bad about NYR, to be honest. They're a decent team with a bright future. This, to me, was just a sleeping giant finally awoken.

Kakko missed the game due to the flu, so I wonder if other guys on the team were dealing with that as well but still played?

Hard to play at top level and compete with a surging Bolts team, if that was the case.

Despite scoring 9 goals the Bolts still gave up 3, so the Rangers are still showing their potential. Chytil is finally doing what we wanted to see him do. Two for him last night.

I was curious to see how Kakko responded after that big game the other night. I was thinking it could act as breakout moments for him to comfortable and confident.

Because of the Hughes/draft connection I like to keep tabs on Kakko is doing. He's an interesting player.

Whoa Nelly!

It’s 2 games vs Buffalo, who is sliding down fast, and Rangers. Let’s see vs Washington, St. Louis and Islanders...

I hope this is the first look at the new "physical" Lightning squad. That game had everything the Bolts usually lack - grit, hard hits, fights, and imposing one's will over the other team using a combination of skill and brute force.

Granted, the officials helped out by tilting the ice in favor of the home team a bit (I call when it see it).

Did anybody else notice that near-miss of a monster check by Cernak on Lemieux? Cernak came this >< close to sending Lemieux to outer space on a missed check well after the fight between Lemieux and McD. If that check had landed, it would have done far more damage than McD's lone punch did in the fight.

The grinding/4th line was dominant.

Palat is adding "power forward" to his two-way player resume.

Verhageemouse is snake-bitten. Just a matter time before this kid hits the score sheet.

I hope Kuch didn't lose any chiclets on that hit to the piehole.

Chytil looked good in a wasted effort by his team.

Love you Galactic. I can talk poop about leafs all day. I live in Tampa and have season tickets because I love hockey. I’m waiting on bolts resurgence until they play a healthy Boston, Washington, Isles, St. Louis and a healthy Colorado. Scary last night watching Montreal dominate Caps last night. Hate all other NHL teams especially the Habs lol. Habs look really good 😫
