I’m interested. Didn’t Murray just get hurt though? |

If Nolan Patrick can’t go anytime soon,I’d kick the tires. Not sure what the Wings would want, but I’d at least explore it. He has a bit of speed, and can play any forward position. |

Leo Komarov and a conditional 3rd round pick in '23 seems fair |

If we were GM’s, your proposal warrants further discussion, unlike some of the ridiculous proposals the crazies post! |

+ One 30 goal season
+ Lots of speed
- Not a very good defensive player
- Attitude issues in the past
- RFA who will probably want 6+ million a season
1st and a prospect? A C or maybe D type prospect....hard maybe. A or B prospect....hard NO. - Glak18
Pretty good assessment here, although the attitude part is mostly speculative. His stats I think are worse than they should be since hes spent so much time with linemates that are unworthy of being on a second line.
Any trade for him that doesnt involve a 1st is no good for me. IMHO, the only real reason to trade him is because I dont believe he will be a major contributor by the time the team is ready to compete. Right now hes an upcoming RFA and can be a threat any time hes on the ice. Hes worth a late first rounder and that pick will be a better fit for Detroits timetable. Trading him for another player that will be declining in 4 or 5 years would be a waste of assets. |

Find me a 30 goal scorer with contract control that went for a 2nd and a plug prospect. |

People not to stop misplacing attitude problems with the fact that his agent is Darren F'n Ferris

Yup.
But you should question a player's judgment if they decide to pick ferris as their agent. |

Was the source who said the Sabres were interested in AA the same source who said they were planning to sign a high profile RFA to an offer sheet this summer, even when they were already over the cap? |

I think any team that has a young D with term could possibly tempt Yzerman. I could see Ristolainen straight up. Maybe Grezlcyk plus a decent prospect.
What about Adam Larsson plus a second round pick for AA?
Colorado might be interesting. Timmins plus a first round pick might do it. IF they miss out on Hall. OR instead of Hall.
Carolina has extra D.
I mention this avenue simply because Detroit is bereft of quality D after Dekeyser.

Detroit is much better off keeping him. Yes he's had a slow start (partly due to injury). 30-goal scorers don't grow on trees. He's 25 so he's just now hitting his prime. He's heating up now and can still have a very good season ahead of him. He has the hands to match his explosive speed. The Wings need to keep him. Even if they were to trade him they'd be wise to be patient until his value goes up (because it definitely will). - Vladdie_Kon1
Hes only scored 30 once. Settle down bud. |

AA to Buffalo would make a lot of sense but don’t think it could happen cuz (1)the way buffalos season might play out it could be a high pick and (2) would have to be Salaey neutral to more salary going to Detroit. I wouldn’t give up the first so don’t think there’s a match?? |

He's had total crap linemates for the last two years. Put some quality 2nd liners (or better) on his line and let's see what happens. Once this team's prospects are ready to step up and play on his line then I think he will be elite and consistent. The recent addition to Fabbri to his line has definitely helped him and the team. |
