Choke

Can any Hayes lovers explain the positives that correspond with his 7.1M cap hit?

Derrick brassard is providing a poop Ton more value than Hayes

I know some people will say the Flyers choked because they were tired in the 3rd period with 3 games in 4 days, but that doesn't explain the stupid penalties. Flyers should have won this game. Who do we blame for this loss?

I know you are talking about a combo, but I must also add that Voracek needs to develop an interest in hockey

Got a point out of a schedule loss last night. I’m more concerned with the Ottawa game and why they couldn’t play a better brand of hockey Friday

The big money players are killing this team. That is a terrible sign

My frustration is equal. It might get worse after the Eagles game

I know they were tired, but when you've got a 3 goal lead at home with 12 mins to go, good teams don't fold like they did. They lock it down and play a simpler game and of course don't make the mental mistakes for line changes etc.

I don't like excuses in situations like this one. Find a way to get the two pts in reg.

I've got no idea why Myers was scratched unless he was the rookie whipping boy for the coach to get the message accross to the team about Friday. Otherwise, their strongest d lineup includes Myers. On top of his play, sanheim plays better with him.

You try to never get too high after a win or too low after a loss, but they really had a chance to put Friday’s road bump in the rear view mirror until mental mistakes crept in to last nights third period. I’m trying to be positive, but the Islanders are a perfect example of what makes a good team play great. They have all 20 guys buying in night in and night out.
The Flyers don’t have this and honestly there are some guys that never will.

Myers, after a run of excellent games, wasn't as good against Washington per AV on Thursday before the team left for Ottawa. He had a rough game in Ottawa.

I was surprised he was scratched last night, though, TBH.

I think we all were. For sure he wasn't as good the last two but he was hardly the most egregious culprit. Imo leave him in and see how he bounces back. I wonder if he draws back in next game.

Or good old Bellemare, he has 4 goals with 10% of HaZe ice time.

They want Myers to bring his “A” game every night....his big knock is consistency. I’m sure Myers knows full well why he sat. I would prefer they cut his ice time down but still dress him.

Myers in his first few game up played very well. If Myers had continued playing at that level, the coach is not going to healthy scratch him to send a message to the team. Myers was scratched because his level of play had dropped off.

Myers scratch was a reminder to bring it every night and Haag stepped in fine for sitting so long but what is up with jake on the power play. We’ve got such great movement only to have him make low percentage passes that kill it. Over and over again. Looks nice when they work but I can’t think it’s being missed by av. Something has to give

There were numerous passes that were of the mark last night, not just the PP. Routine breakout passes were botched leading to extended zone time. That's what tires a team out. Again, the Flyers top players came up small. Giroux had one play where he had a direct lane to the net and completely stick handled it into a play where no shot or pass attempt was made. Giroux was indecisive on his SO attempt leading to an easy poke check for Greiss.

Still pissed. Can’t blow that game. But they are 10-6-4 while playing really inconsistently. They figure it out and they will be very good.

So when do you think chuck pulls the trigger on moving voracek?
He just isnt buying into AVs system or what?
Who will take that albattoss contract?
Hayes is untradable and playing pretty poorly. Id like for AV to sit them both but here we are...short on centers.
Bench jake and hayes. Take an L. If they come back on fire afterwards then it was worth it.
But thats 15m of salary producing nothing right now

Tons of talent but I wouldn’t lose any sleep if he was dealt.....some ask how would we replace his offence? Those comments are growing more and more silent. Tough to move the contract.....so what’s coming back could be scary.

What about a Jaimie Benn for Vorecek deal ?
