yes, after the worst stretch the Leafs have seen in years, the Sens are TWO wins behind the Leafs, and as you say, "loser points".

I'll never understand why people are too stupid to see that they're not really "loser points". Those with shootout wins get the "gimmick points", and the losers retain the points they'd get from what would normally be a tie.

But whatever, the Leafs are going to be a playoff team, likely a divisional seed, yet again, while the Sens sit in the basement, with little to no young talent, a management team too inept to actually attain any decent young talent, and an owner that would probably sell them off if any fell into their laps anyway.

enjoy being a sub .500 playoff team BTW......it will be HILARIOUS watching the leafs lose in the 1st round again.

you know, top 5 prospect pool/farm system in the league, but whatever.......if prock says "no young talent", it must be true.

I envy you, it must be so liberating walking around oblivious to reality all the time. you just wake up every morning, put on your little blue glasses, and all of a sudden the fact that the big bad cup contending leafs are actually a train wreck is completely lost on you. I think that guy from the matrix said it best.........

I mean, sure....

Looking at a publication that names Logan Brown and Drake Batherson, a couple of 21 year olds that can't succeed in the NHL (or even stick in the NHL, for Batherson's matter).

Of course if you're going to overrate second rate prospects like that, you might say top 5. But they're not. They're isn't a single elite level young player or prospect in the organization.

This reminds me of the days when Leaf fans thought the likes of Robbie Earl and John Mitchell were the Leafs saving grace.

Not that you are wrong about the Leafs right now ... but Sens fans really should take a couple more years off from criticizing any other teams.

Chabot, Tkachuk, Brannstrom. You might not call them prospects, but they are all very good young players.

and they will get a couple more this summer from their pick and San Jose's

Melnyk will always be the biggest obstacle.

Tkachuk is okay but i dont see him developing into an elite player.

Brannstrom too hard to guage.

Chabot so overated by sens fans its hilarious. Lots of points over his first 30 games if i recall, tapered heavily, will finish under 50 points and hes a mess in his own zone, just as bad as his predecessor (but way less offense).

I dont see any of them developing into franchise level players.

They may get more prospects but they still dont have any marner, matthews, rielly, tavares level potential players.....

I don't have two houses. Not sure where you got that from. Hot wife? Who gives a poop if they're hot or not, we're all tired of putting up with our wive's poop, no matter what they look like.

Your last statement is just your usual plain stupidity. The Leafs never lost a game in regulation when leading after 2 periods last year. They lost 1 in OT when leading after 2 all year. And that was their first regulation loss this year. The Sens lost 4 in regulation and another 2 in OT when leading after 2.......

except that sens are rebuilding and were picked to be historically bad (and are actually much better than most thought).........the leafs are supposed to be the best team assembled in the cap era, and they aren't even a fringe playoff team at this point.

your team is an on-ice tire fire with enough roster holes to sink an aircraft carrier, and you don't even have enough cap space for an injury replacement callup.

your team is a joke right now, and will be even worse next year.

They're doing just fine recently. Teams go through slumps. I think we all know the Leafs will end up with a division seed, just like the past few years, as will Tampa.

Ottawa will remain a bottom feeder when all is said and done.

you keep telling yourself that....

best you can hope for with this poopty one-dimensional is another 1st round exit at the hands of a better team

Not really..... A couple of game 7 losses (as underdog nonetheless) to a SC finalist to me says they absolutely CAN compete with the types of teams that can win a cup.

But the best the Sens can hope for right now, is just another mediocre prospect that will jump ship first chance he gets because the owner won't pay him.

the road to the Sens becoming a playoff team doesn't even START until a new owner and GM take over. Even then it's a 5 year thing. So what, a decade at best for the Sens?

I love how much it bugs you that your big bad leafs have only won 2 more games than Ottawa has this year.........our rebuilding cap floor team is on the heels of your "best team in the cap era" leafs. they aren't a contender now, and have no money to fix the glaring roster holes that are already there and that will be significantly worse next year.

I hope you enjoyed your window that was open for about 1 off-season........leafs have already been passed by several teams, with many more right behind.

so says you.

There will be money next year..... We traded off our long term junk for short term junk Cody Ceci, who is coming off the cap, along with Muzzin and Barrie..... that's a lot of money. With two of the best young dmen in the AHL, at ages 19 and 20, on their way in on ELCs.

I'm not too concerned. And it's hysterical you think I'm bothered right now. There is nothing a Sens fan can say that will bother me. Nothing at all. Your team, and entire organization are a disaster. If there were relegation in the NHL, they'd be gone.

And FYI, the distance from Carolina to the Leafs, in the standings, is the same as the distance from the Leafs to the Sens. So if you really think it's such a small difference, that basically means you think the Leafs are barely out of 3rd in the league.

butthurt and delusional....

you're a double threat

next year, after all those guys come off the books, the leafs will have about 16 mil to fill 12-13 roster spaces, including 6 of 7 NHL d spots........good luck with that.

at that rate Dubas is handing out contracts, i expect Dermott will probably eat half that cap space by himself . your team is (frank)ed, and it's HILARIOUS that you're too dumb to see it.

there have been retards saying this a couple of years now though. Can't sign all 4.... gonna lose Marner.....

Also, they've got 11 under contract, and max roster size is 23, so no, not 12, 11 ASSUMING max roster size. Min is 21. 16 mil also assumes no change in cap.

17 or 18 mil isn't bad to fill out 9 to 11 roster spots when the majority are all depth players, and you've got a couple of rookie dmen to fill spots too.

You're just the next retard in line.

So youre saying its easier to sign the big contracts rather than your depth when your core is locked up?

Ihh, okay. Is a sens fan the one to be commenting on this? What youve considered your core hasnt stuck around in a decade. You don't really know what its like to lock up a core player.
