This crap play is on the players.

But dubie:
- did not get team friendly deals on the two biggest contracts in leafs history (concerning their own draftees)
- mismanaged the cap, cant even afford a back up goalie
- has built one of the softest teams in league, probably the past decade or so.
- his biggest trade (barrie/kadri) is failing.
- traded away two 1st rounders
- hasnt won a playoff round.

What has happened with Barrie? The guy can skate and you don’t get 56 pts if you suck. If this keeps up, the return at the tdl may be less than anticipated. Meanwhile Kadri is on pace for 28 goals and is being his usual poop disturber self. This deal never made sense. Not a Dubas fan

The way this team is built they have little to no options at all to balance out the cap and balance out the roster in terms of talent, and to add much needed depth, and a influx of character.

This season is done IMO, therefore I would be in talks to make big trades to fix this mess. Go nuclear.

Nylander, Matthews and Barrie would be at the top of the list to see what could be had in trade for them.
