Don't crush me.. Something along these lines.

But - How about Stolarz- just won his 7th straight with Gulls and Gudbranson with Ritchie for Barrie and Kap -

Solves your toughness problem along with Backup goalie issue .. and Guds has been more than decent for us.

- dozerD10

No, the Leafs are keeping Kap. Have Willie or Marner.

I shouldn't be so insensitive really...

but then again, how big a problem is a bit of brain damage for a gull?

all this.

he left out pulled a powerplay to push lou out.

he forced is way into a job on a team that was trending upward. I liked that the leafs gave him a chance, but unfortunately for him, I don't he should get any leeway here.

he needed keep showing the team was on a upward trend. the second that it's not means he should be out, imo.

After the way JT left the Isles, did anyone think he was capable of leading the Leafs to success? When your captain and leader is a slime bucket and does what he did, how can the guys listen and play for him? You will not find a guy in the league that would agree with how he chose to go out. It's coming around. It always does. I did not expect it this fast but inside he's a mental wreck and he did it to himself. I actually feel bad for the guy. He is thinking" I could be winning, getting paid and learning how to be defensively responsible" He will probably be tormented for the rest of his career.

Leafs need to try and find a way to trade for Josh Anderson and David Savard. Big defense who shoots right and hits. Big forward who likes to hit and can easily play with Matthews and Nylander. Anderson can score, putting up 27 goals last year and 19 in 63 the year before. Need a character player who will stand up for his teammates and drop the gloves.

If I was the leafs, I'd do whatever they need to try and get both of those guys. I'm sick of seeing Ceci every night for 21 minutes.

I agree, but a change in players will probably have to happen too. I don't know how they can continue playing such terrible defense. I don't think even with shaking up the lines that it will result in a different outcome, regardless of the coach.

Babcock has clearly lost this team.

the only downside of firing the coach - which would seem like a logical first step - is that the big shadow protecting Mr Dubas would be gone.

and what if Keefe falls flat on his face?

bye bye Dubie - better get some shades rather than those pointdexter goggles.

I love how their team is doing great since his departure and they are still super sour about it.

Move the (frank) on already...
