Leafs need to try and find a way to trade for Josh Anderson and David Savard. Big defense who shoots right and hits. Big forward who likes to hit and can easily play with Matthews and Nylander. Anderson can score, putting up 27 goals last year and 19 in 63 the year before. Need a character player who will stand up for his teammates and drop the gloves.

If I was the leafs, I'd do whatever they need to try and get both of those guys. I'm sick of seeing Ceci every night for 21 minutes.

I don't think he's terribly overrated, per se. I do think that the last few games he has certainly shown that his value lies in being an above average 4th line player, but he gets outclassed when playing against elevated competition.

That's not that bad of an idea. Barrie likely won't stay here if Babs keeps treating him like a stay-at-home defenseman. Nylander would be s high price to pay but it would be nice to have Anderson and Savard.

They say that’s whats going on in CHI. They’re winning because the coach is letting the players play the way they want, because they were getting sick of him. That’s what Babs should do. He should compromise with them a bit.
