But a more serious response...even when they don’t cheat for O, their pretty soft and easy to play against in all zones...except Muzzin.

AM started to pound some guys too last couple, he needs more of that...there’s no reason every guy on the roster shouldn’t finish every check...except against Chara maybe.

I've been struggling to figure out why muzzin looks out of sync with the team...

...seems like he's the only one working hard/taking a hit/in the right spot

Everyone else is just going with the flow and it's the others that are not meshing with muzzin.

Anyone else noticing Matthews struggling against other teams top lines on the road?
- aminnes

yeah, 1 goal in 9 away games vs 13 goals in 13 games at home indicates that

Anderson has 1 goal and 1 assist in 13 games. He got them both in the same game. 3rd + Bracco for Anderson.

Hot take(?): I can't be the only one who thinks Trevor Moore is terribly overrated and is easily replaceable, can I?

Enough with the trades. Fire babs.

Ive posted this on eks thread....holl has arguably been one of our best d this year...yet that stubborn stack of saskatchewan poop banished him to the press box for 70 plus games for marty (frank)ing marincin. That tells me he has no clue.

Would you still finish your check or go all out, if you've stopped playing for your coach?

I still don't think the team is that far off. They know how to hockey. I think a coaching change needs to be made. I like Babs and think he's a good coach, but this play cannot continue

I don’t think it’s that...we just don’t have many guys that play that way.

We’ve been buzzing around most games, we’ve been just missing easy assignments and allowing easy goals...then we work like mofos for 20 mins and then 1 bobble - boom shacka(frank)aluck right in our net.

They haven't been a consistent team so far. They can't seem to play a complete 60 minute game. It's on the players and the coach. Since you can't fire/trade all 21 players, so the coach will fall on the sword.

THIS!

And honestly the head coach has butted heads with the GM last season and this one too.

Also look at Kask got shelled sure but the players all going over to rally with him seems to me they were maybe sending a message there. A screw you coach type game there.

You also get a guy like Barrie who says the system is unnecessarily complex and makes it hard to get up to speed and with how many new faces, plus injuries... got to wonder if the missed passes and mistakes are not coming from utter confusion on Babs plan there.

I think you have to start with Babs and see, then if needed make a statement trade.

The first move Dubas should make is to fire Babs. The team is way better than they are showing.
That Saturday night game was just brutal. I genuinely felt bad for Kaskisuo. I did like how they supported him after the game.
I do wish Babcock would let Tyson Barrie be Tyson Barrie

slight problem here for Dubas... and its partly optics.

if he were to ask Shanahan if he can let Babcock go right now.... he himself Dubas is front and center in the limelight - I'm guessing that is not his strong suit.

Also, since they obviously don't have many suitable choices for an interim head coach, he's not going to want to put Keefe into this mess right now.

How do you think the fanbase and media are going to react if Dubas puts Hakstol in as interim? yeah... exactly

Babcock will get until the end of the road trip at a minimum.

The first move should be to have a conversation with Babcock, Barrie and Dubas in the room.

"Mike - can you take the training wheels off Tyson"?
if not. we'll move him for his sake...

and if that's the case what type of d-man do you want in exchange? (don't say Ron Hainsey)

Firing Babs lets them off the hook.

I think a bunch of entitled kids got paid a poop-ton of money, and now they’re not living up to expectations.

Fire him anyways. But I think there’s an issue with the type of players they have.

Wtf??

Barrie needs to quit his whining and start acting like a grown ass man.

(frank) him. He gets paid millions to play a game. Too complex....spend the extra time in the video room and figure it out. Wtf team will wants a lazy piece of sh1t that doesn't want to learn a new system.

What s (frank)ing joke. Sackic is lol'ing that he dropped that (frank)er on us.

Franson got back a 1st. Teams will look at how Barrie was deployed with the Leafs and see that this isn’t the real him. They won’t offer the sun and the moon or anything, but a 50+ point PP quarterback with a cap hit less than 3? They’ll get a decent return.
