“Keith Yandle loses 9 teeth in the first period last night. Misses the second and comes back for the third. After dental work this morning will be playing at 5 pm today keeping the current NHL iron man streak alive. This is not a SONK”

This is why I think they’re still a little ways away from making some serious noise. Just a little too up and down still and really lacking consistency (for me at least).

LoL, when they give up a chance, they really give up a chance. Gotta have that "timely" save, though. It's one, then the other, or combinations of both, and it's another ridiculous comeback needed to even earn a point.
But even with all that, that's pretty much the second victory vs FL where Ullmark was the star of the game for Buffalo. The first period could've unfolded much differently.

Crappy, they just totally outplayed Boston, lost cause of Rask, just took it to you guys, had a bad stretch. You really shouldn't be talking trash, Florida hasn't looked very good either

While Eichel ended up having himself a good day, Ullmark was the man. Sabres would've been down early and often without him.

Every game it's 4 or 5 goals allowed. Bob is a big disappointment, Morrison & Yandle
have to many turnovers in the defensive zone. Can't except Barkov and the boys to score 5 goals every night. Need a shut down guy & improved goaltending.

My mistake... Matheson totally gets shots through once in awhile and they are 3 ft high or wide or both.

And yes I consider Buffalo crappy. Gave up 45 shots to a flat team on the back of a back-to-back

Need Weegar back so Pysyk can be out. first 2 goals he went for the block and didn't get a piece of either one. If youre gonna block then block

Weegar is definitely missed!! They were showing improvement, but have struggled since he went out. Need the Weegs back soon.
Yes, they could've given the Panthers a few more PPs, but they could've put them in the box a couple of more times, too. FL and Buffalo will be in other's way on the way to any success either may attain. Hopefully FL can be less crappy than them from here on. FL skated circles around them for much of the game, and hit several posts, and Malgin missed a wide open net because he hit Hoff's leg with his shot, but Coulda woulda shoulda is still 0 pts, after all.

He just needs to play more, I don't think they're blaming him for anything. He has been shaky at times in his limited appearances. They don't have any back to back games coming for awhile, so Bob is gonna be going most every game. Monty can go play and get his groove back. Hopefully the team in front of him feels a little responsible for getting the kid sent down, too. Maybe they'll feel shame and start to tighten up their defensive coverages. Need Weegar back asap.

Pysyk should be playing for some second rate minor league team. Matheson is still Matheson and will never change. If we keep allowing 4 plus goals a game then the playoff dream will rapidly be gone. The defense is horrible and Bobrovsky looks like Reimer from last year. By the way, why do the goal lights at BBT not go on when a goal is scored?
