Anyone know the last time Saad or Toews actually hit someone? Not asking for them to run guys but they are the kings of the fly by. Literally never lay a hit. Opposing players just hold the puck and let them skate by. Maybe lay a hit once in a while.....

Literally go back and forth as to whether it is a decline in skill or if he’s just lost his edge and will to compete.

A lot of it appears to be effort and his loss of strength on his skates.

Never seen a guy fall down and so weak on his skates like him, especially someone 6ft+, 200+ lbs. Something wrong somewhere.

This is just the beginning. When this team misses the playoffs again, baring a 180 degree turn by 85% of the roster, it will send a lot of people packing and they can enjoy the same email I got 2 years ago when I had enough and they asked why.....I laid it out and got zero response.

Crawford will be fired by Thursday at the latest. They won't let this hang out there long. ...

Does nothing for either. A lot of hustle but never in the right spot. Ends up being a lot of wasted energy chasing the play. No idea why he is up.

I started to notice it vs Nashville when Johanson ran a train on him and Keith in that series. That was the start of the decline and for Toews.....he hasn't recovered since.....Oh he had he his flash last year, but outside of that its been a decline in production for multiple years.

He falls down more then an instructional mens league team. Could be his back. Could be his balance is off with a head issue. Could be a training issue. Could be a want to compete issue. Nobody knows. All we know is what we see and if he's out there every night and rarely taking "maintenance days" like a Keith and even Kane do....I can't buy a back issue. See if those "maintenance days" pick up....

Sucks...I loved the DeHaan, Shaw, Maata moves. Loved the Lehner signing. Was ok with Smith as I realized AA had to go and they needed more jam. Was excited to see 17/12 continue to produce and give them a 2 line attack.

I just don't think they are talented enough. They are way too slow on D and 56 is so damn bad in his own end, that if he's not 1984 Paul Coffey it doesn't justify him being on the team.

Special teams are just horrid. PK gives up way too many grade A chances, and PP rarely gets any sustained pressure.

ITs truly a complete dumpster fire right now....and firing JC and replacing him Crawford isn't even possible.

What frightens me most is....who is the next wave of the top pairing? Murphy? he just got deked out of his jock by Schwartz down low that set up O'Reillys point blank chance on the PP. Murphy could be a top 4, but not a guy I want out there in game 7 in charge of shutting down the leagues elite.....

They did a pretty big turnover this summer and are getting the same results.....thnk they have to look at their core....that's the constant lately and the results aren't getting better.

The only hawks I saw show up tonight & liked their games were Saad, Kampf, & Kane. Adb & Murphy had their moments, but definitely far from a complete game. Not looking good peoples.

How many years left on those contracts. 3.5 seasons. Oh boy
