They are talking regarding Hall and another player from another team. IMO I don't think Botterill will give up what the Devils are looking for but you never know. A lot will depend on what Hall is looking for per year. Like i said before, you can't have 3-4 players making 9-10 mill a year.

Thanks 89. Yeah I’m not sold on Hall. For what he’d sign for and what it’d take, I can’t see it making sense. But I’m no GM... hopefully the other player is a little more affordable all around.

You could easily argue he’s been the best Sabre Dman, including Dahlin.

As much as I love Hall, his contract would scare me for the same reason I get pooped on here for my opinion on Jeffrey.

I also think the need for a veteran 2C out weighs the need for another winger but I’m a galaxy brain.
