The NHL should send out a memo to all teams to have all personnel bring forth anything they’ve done in the past that could jeopardize their employment now. Then, show how they’ve made changes in their life because they know it was wrong.

Why is Babcock even in the discussion? He didnt physically abuse anyone as far as we know or cross racism lines etc. His thing with Marner was douchey but not much more than that. Babcock is a nut case is all. He was fired based on results.

Was it even fair that the player that outs Peters for racism said "the apple doesnt fall far from the tree"? What tree is that? bumhole vs. Violent Racist? I'd get my lawyers to look at that comment since the slander is taking roots.

I'm waiting for the stories to start coming out about yelling in curling.

Some reporter is saying that Babcock verbally abused him. And Chelios said that Babcock went hard after Franzen when he was dealing with concussions and it caused Franzen to have a mental breakdown. Chelios said the players didn't like it but no one said anything since Holland had Babcock's back.


My personal stance is that the coach's hitting players are idiots who should be punished. As for the verbal abuse, I mean that kind of comes with the environment so the players coming out and saying they don't like being yelled at are probably gonna hate every coach then, but if it's a player like Franzen who's dealt with multiple head injuries and then has a breakdown then the coach should probably tone it down.
