I admire your steadfast commitment to your opinion of what to do with Kreider, but I would like them to explore scenarios where he can stick around for a few years.
I know it’s not a perfect comparison, but he’s almost like our Wayne Simmonds. And he might not have that much longer before heavy play starts catching up to him. Maybe he can transition from the top 6 onto the 3rd line as the kids start to push past him? Problem then is that your paying a lot for a 3rd liner. But, how knows what he ends up signing for if they make him feel wanted.

I've really only recently been on the trade Kreider bandwagon. I wanted him to be the captain. I still like him a lot but like you said it depends on cost with regards to how happy I am if he comes back/stays.
