I mean Fast played a lot of the time with Panarin and Strome and it's not like he put up any points either. Panarin will produce regardless of who is with him. That being said I want the guy with the higher ceiling playing with Panarin which right now seems like Chytil. Give me

Panarin Chytil Kakko
Kreider Zibanejad Buchnevich
Lemieux Strome Fast
Nieves Howden Smith

I think it's about time to send Howden down for a bit. I'm all on board with letting him learn while getting icetime, but he's starting to go in a downward spiral like last year. I would call Lias up and insert him as the 3C while moving Strome to wing. Boo is perfectly fine playing as the 4C for a stretch.

I don't think Lias has played all that well in Hartford though

This is all your fault. Your team was supposed to stop sucking this year.

Taylor Hall on a team means a guaranteed lottery win

if they trade him then their chances of winning are all gone

I gotta say, last night was pretty frustrating. Because the lack of effort when they could have gone for 4 in a row was appalling. Just (frank)ing try.

Lias couldn't sniff the 3rd line when he was coming off a great preseason. After looking like crap and being sent down, you think he would get called up to fill that role?

I don't think he's coming back anytime soon

just reading some of the guys who cover the Hartford games on twitter, he seems to have taken some dumb penalties too

I can't believe he was the 7th overall pick. It looks painfully hard for him to even generate a shot on net, let alone a scoring chance. If it came down to it I would use Brendan Smith over him in an offensive situation.

But seeing the way Chytill is progressing and playing, I am not upset if Lias turns into a complete bust

I think they are wasting valuable time getting something back for him in a deal

I don't know if you mean me personally or the team, but yes....

A Ranger friend was joking with me last night and texted (at 6-1 Buffalo) that we were a Mickey Mouse Club. (frank)ing hard to argue at this point. I'm old enough to remember when Gretzky said that and I can't believe we are back where we started.

I remember watching that game when Gretzky said it and I remember the Devils actually had an early lead in that game, like 2-0. I think Oilers won like 13-4

Chytil looks 100% like the real deal. I'm not saying Lias is great or anything, but Howden has been trending bad, like really bad like last year. I'd rather fix that because I still think he has a decent ceiling as a 2/3 tweener type guy.

I could never figure out why so many people picked them to be even halfway-decent this season. They had the same top-heavy forward group, save for the addition of a washed-up Simmonds and a talented rookie built like a girl scout, a patchwork-at-best goaltending tandem, and brought in Subban as the only significant addition on the blueline. PK is a real talented player but he's a luxury item, not the kind of guy that comes in and really changes the make-up of the team.

I am not trying to poke or troll but I cannot believe how bad Subban is. I actually dropped him in fantasy the other day.

The Devils are better than this, I think it might be time for some new personnel behind the bench.

Yeah, but are they really this bad? Subban can be a game breaker but now he looks like the opposite. Simmonds I kind of expected to have more in the tank.

if the Devils want to dump him they'd have to pick up 50%, unlike Nashville who made out like bandits getting rid of that whole salary
