@FriedgeHNIC
says #Sabres50 have shown interest in Alex Galchenyuk from Penguins

He currently has 2 g and 8 assists and is a UFA at the end of the year. Currently makes 4.7 mil so they would have to trade someone who makes some cash in return. Miller, Bogo

Whatever.

Maybe Scandella, make room for Pilut. Don't really like Galy, but would make room for Pilut if they took Scandella, maybe get a little more offense from the back end.

Galchenyuk is another guy who can’t really play center, and is terrible on D, and isn’t that good at offense.

Sounds just like a Buffalo Sabre

Yeah well 5 years in a row with over 40pts, how many Sabres have done that. Plus if we could get them to take Scandella it free up a spot for Pilut, who could bring a little offense to the back end. Plus Galy is a UFA at years end so what does it hurt.

He’s basically Jimmy Vesey. I think one of them is enough

That happened like 3 hours ago but he had no shots on goal so, ya know, he is a gifted tipper. I thought he might play better back home.

Skinner played well as he should more often. When the announcers like Ray even say a couple times that "Skinner has played well tonight" it kind of insinuates he is not noticed many other games.

Risto has been solid

Olofson is showing himself to be quite a find and a well-rounded scorer

Hutton better turn it around or they are going to need another goalie.

Vesey has never had 40pts in his career, never scored 20 goals. Galy has scored 20 or more twice and 19 2 more times. Is he the answer, probably not, does it hurt to try.

Arizona and Pittsburgh both has this thought, and he didn’t work out.

The Pittsburgh GM publicly said he would have to really earn a spot if he wanted to play when they’re all healthy.

You can interpret any way you want but an announcer FINALLY saying one of the team's prime players played well multiple times stands out.

Anyway, the Sabres 1st round pick leads the Western Hockey League in scoring:

@SabresProspects
·
3m
Dylan Cozens hits the 20-goal mark with an empty-netter. He finishes the night with three points (1+2) as Lethbridge defeats Swift Current 5-3. Through 30 games, Cozens leads the WHL with 46 points.

I know that boards, but are we resigning Scandella next year, if not then why not swap UFA and see if the kid wakes up and brings a little offense. Plus it could open a spot for Pilut, who could bring some offense to are backend.

Miller, he's a scratch to much and shouldn't be. I think it would be more then Miller, more then a 1 for 1. You would think.

Murray has been too inconsistent. Can’t see the pens moving jarry.

Would la really move him. He’s the type of player we need. But that’s a huge cap hit. For a long time.

No way the Kings would move him and no way he would leave, just me thinking out loud.

Exactly why I don’t want him. When was his last decent year. He’s a warm body forward to balance the forwards and d. Doesn’t move the needle.

Yeah, I was thinking that too but I think Miller makes less, so the Sabres would have to send someone else to make it work for the cap.

Yeah Miller makes $3,875,000

Galchenyk makes $4,900,000

so someone else would have to go to fit the cap.
