Av's top line is absurd.
Challenging game tonight, playing with a shorthanded lineup not ideal. |

JvR had one goal and two assists last week, on the fourth line. There is no excuse to not give him a try. As for JvR’s work on the PP, he can’t do it alone. The entire power play doesn’t look sharp. |

Vigneault must not like Van Riemsdyk's work ethic. To elevate
Pitlick to the second line is pretty outside the box. |

One could argue he has been playing better on the fourth line. |

He may also be rewarding Pitlick's hard work. Who knows. Right now I trust AV to push the right buttons. |

Also, is JVR comfortable playing on the right? Otherwise, bringing him up to the first line would mean moving Roo to the right. |

Didn't know this, but Patrick has been living with Hayes. Bought his new place and invited Patrick to tag along. I liked the Hayes signing from the beginning, but this makes me love it even more. If you don't remember, there was a time in Hayes's college career when he possibly wasn't going to play again. I'm sure his voice has been a huge help for Patrick with his current migraine disorder. The more I read about how close this team is, the more i love this season |

One thing I feel certain about their current coach, if the lines aren’t working or they fall behind, he has no problems juggling players.
Whoever is playing well seems to get immediately rewarded with more shifts.
So Pitlick may start with G but JvR could see shifts with G and Frost pretty quickly.
I like how AV has managed playing time a lot this season. |

I've got no problem with Vigneault and the entire coaching staff. They have done a great job so far.
The issue here is JVR is essentially an albatross contract at this point. |

Pitlick on the line with G and Frost may not last, but I can see it working at least for a while. The depth on D pays off with Myers out and Haag in. Flyers have a tough game, but I'm hoping AV can put together a game plan that'll frustrate the Avs. They do have a lot of firepower though. |

It definitely does not look like a good one right now.
I also think JVR will get pretty extensive minutes with Giroux and Frost over the next three games. Especially if they are behind. |

He seems more effective playing on the 4th line. I would leave him there |

So, Meyers out and Hagg is in. I thought we were supposed to trade Hagg. Better yet, trade Ghost. After all, we have extra d hanging around all year.

I'm glad it isn't really at the Wells Fargo Center, with that start time! |

He is a dark horse candidate to be a great bottom 6 forward. |

Surely this is because they don't want Stewart to be in the lineup, not because Lindblom is hurt and won't play tonight right? |

Good question above about Kase, I’m once again excited to see a young player play this year. What a year for the youth and the fans! |

Another albatross contract to go with that overpaid loser Voracek. |
