Given what much of the rest of his draft class has accomplished, if Lias tops out as a Cally-type energy, leadership kind of player, I'll be fine with that.
He had no control over his draft position, so to hold that up as some standard he must live up to is not fair, to me.

Very well said! Unfortunately there are way to many opinions from people who just don't understand hockey that well. Way too much negativity and simple disrespecting our players. I hope that these people either stop or become a Devils fan since they cry like Devils fans, young and dumb!!!

I'd be thrilled if Lias becomes Cally 2.0. He looks to be developing slower than expected, takes some players more time to develop than others so I'm not calling him bust just yet.
