Jeff Paul: Analyzing the Marc-Andre Fleury All-Star Selection Marc-Andre Fleury was once again named the all-star representative of the Vegas Golden Knights. While his ability is unquestioned and it's a sentimental win for Flower, other Golden Knights may have been more qualified.

Fleury almost had to be the selection - cause what other goalie in the pacific would be picked?? Real question is what happens if Keumper can't go - is he replaced with another goalie or with another Coyote?

Interesting scenario there. Maybe there's leniency since he was selected and they could just pick any other player.

All Star picks are often more about name recognition or making sure to have decent players from every team. Other Golden Knights certainly warrant that no doubt. But who deserves to be there is often near the bottom of the NHL's priorities for this event.
