Wow, that's sending a clear message to Rantanen and Burky. No passengers!!

Was at the Winnipeg game and the hitting was absolutely missing. Not a single hit stands out from the Avs side of the game and while I sat on the attach twice side, what I saw was completely soft in front of the goal in terms of clearing out the opposing players during the 2nd period. The goal tending may not have been great, but I would point to the lack of physicality in front of the net as my concern from a fans perspective.

Agreed with the poster above. A lot of lazy reaches with the stick when physical contact was required.

So we have had one stand out line, Val, Bells, and Calvert so we break them up?

I still believe the fix for this is

Burakovsky - Mack - Donskoi
Rants - Kadri - Landy
Calvert - Bellmare - Nichuskin
Compher - Jost - Nieto

Top line is all about speed.
Second line is grinding and cycling.
Third line is great in all 3 zones.
Fourth line is scrappy.

D pairs

Makar - Graves
Girard - Johnson
Cole - Zadorov

Makar and Girard together is risky.
