How many teams in the NHL are NOT looking for blueline help - like, looking every single day? If GM's aren't - they should be fired.

Ottawa is set to add significant talent this draft. The talent pool is deep and they have 5 picks in the first two rounds, including one in the top five and probably another in the top ten. It's a bit disgusting that Tampa will have two first rounders including a probable lottery pick from the Nucks.

The pressure to do well in Montreal is likely going to cost them any chance at Lafreniere. When they scored in overtime last night the celebration looked like they won the cup (both in the stands and on the ice) . Picking 14th or 15th that franchise is a mess at the moment. They really need to clean house.

No doubt about it. I love Canadian rivalries - which of course improves with playoff calibre teams.
But...I also like Canadian teams to kick U.S. teams asses. Not sure why...just a homer, I guess.

Benning is an idiot, but a couple of good picks have helped. Problem for the next two years is $20 million of cap tied up with close to zero production - whether players no longer on the team or garbage like Eriksson that do not belong in the NHL.

A mistake Leaf management was making year after year...Hab fans probably want what Leaf fans wanted during the 15/16 season, and it's a perfect year to go for it.
